Menlo Park, California  --  IT software company Heap has secured $2 million in seed venture capital investment.

Heap is developing tools that enable developers to capture every user action in their applications.

Investors in the syndicate included Redpoint Ventures, Salesforce.com and others.

Proceeds purposes from the financing were not disclosed.
